One and a half hours of concentrated yoga practise under Meeta’s expert guidance followed by some time to relax, socialise and enjoy a meal from Meeta’s wonderful kitchen.

Don't we all LOVE our PLANK and CORE? 🙂
Come and join us for this lovely warm-room workshop where Meeta will help us tone all of the core muscles of the body especially the abdomen, chest and lower back. This will also strengthen our arms, wrists and shoulders - preparing us for challenging postures in the future.
Of course PLANK also strengthens the muscles surrounding the spine, which improves posture.
After the workshop Meeta will serve home-made black lentil soup (Urad dal) and vegetable curry with cumin basmati rice, naan and papadums.
Urad dal is high in protein, super versatile, a really good source fibre and contains important vitamins and minerals.

This workshop will be challenging both physically and mentally - and wonderful as a restorative practice. A truly meditative practice that encourages mindful, non-judgemental awareness of the present moment by holding long, passive stretches.
Highly recommended for busy people and those suffering from injury, stress, anxiety, insomnia, depression, high blood pressure, digestive issues, or fatigue, this workshop will teach us how to truly rest, restore, and replenish.
We will use studio equipment to assist into postures that are designed to encourage the body to release tension and allow for optimum performance in our muscles and organs.
The main body of the practice will be in the Yin Yoga tradition: long, deep holds of postures for 2-5 minutes we will allow the body to move beyond the muscular level and get into deep tissue work.

Meeta will prepare Tuver Dal, rice, naan breads and one of her beautiful salads. Tuver Dal is India's staple food and goes well with anything from rice to chapatis and naan. It is wholesome and nutritious, loaded with protein and the tamarind jaggery in this recipe gives it a uniquely tangy and slightly sweet taste
